Meet Our Families
The Msiza Family
Jack and Maria Msiza joined the Bethesda ministry as house parents in January 2009. Jack also serves at Bethesda as a member of the maintenance and grounds team. He gained invaluable experience for this role in his former ministry as the caretaker of Grace Fellowship Church in Pretoria where he served for four and a half years. Maria is kept busy in their home with their small children. Before coming to Bethesda she served as a mother's assistant, helping with young children in a local pastor's family. They are currently parenting Moeletsi, Alfred, Rudolph, Siyabonga, Albert, Gontse, Pienkie, Thando, and James. Daily these children are learning what it means to love the Lord and serve Him with all their hearts as they hear God's Word and see their parent's example.

The Sithole Family
George and Florah Sithole became a part of the Bethesda ministry as houseparents in June 2009. In additional to his role as father to 8 children, George serves in the area of maintenance and grounds. Before coming to Bethesda he worked for a local car dealership. Florah is busy mothering the three boys and four girls that God has placed into their home. Lebo, Julia, Gwentse Modimo, Thembi, Thabiso, Mahlatsi, and Junior are all growing in their knowledge of the God who loves them and sovereignly ordained each step of their lives as they listen to the consistent teaching of their parents.

The Matjeni Family
Elias and Mamitjie Matjeni became houseparents with Bethesda in February 2003. In addition to his role as housefather, Elias ministers as a lay pastor and works for the Department of Education. Mamitjie is enjoying the blessing of children and a busy life in the home after working as a teacher in public education for fourteen years. God brought six beautiful children to fill this home within six months of its beginning. Neo, Shane, Khotatso, Masego, Konyana, and Busisiwe are daily growing in their knowledge of and love for the One who created them.

The Phago Family
Jones and Lenah Phago became houseparents with Bethesda in March 2003. Jones serves in the area of maintenance/grounds at Bethesda, and he is working toward a degree in Theology. Lenah stays active in the home. In addition to their biological son, Neo, Jones and Lenah are thankful for the addition of seven Bethesda children into their home. Sipho, Neo, Johanna, Bongani, Olinda, Thandiwe, Peter, and Lethabo are thriving in a home with parents who model Christ's love and teaching.

The Shikwambane Family
Fritz and Masello Shikwambane became houseparents with Bethesda in June 2003. At Bethesda, Fritz fills the role of Houseparent Supervisor even while he is also working toward earning a degree in Theology; Masello enjoys caring for their eight children. Fritz and Masello have a biological son, Gomolemo, and have welcomed seven more Bethesda children into their home. Ayanda, Gomolemo, Tumelo, Lerato, Prudence, Mpho, Joanna, and Jack are discovering God's truth as they learn through the godly example of their parents.

The Kolokoto Family
John and Primrose Kolokoto arrived at Bethesda in November of 2007. They quickly became the devoted parents of six children in addition to their own daughter and two sons. While fulfilling his role as house father, John is currently employed by MDS Visa Pak where he provides for his family as a logistics manager. Before coming to the ministry to be a full time stay at home mom, Primrose worked at Johnson Control. Being raised in the discipline of a Christian home, Malebogo, Mpho, Rose, Amogelang, Jack, Tumelo, Michael, Otshepegile, and Dipuo are not only learning what it means to be a loving brother or sister of the Kolokoto family, but more importantly what it means to be a dedicated child of God's family.
