On June 13th, Bethesda was thrilled to host the wedding of Mary, one of our faithful relief housemothers to her fiance Peter, currently a seminary student and pastor. The wedding day ceremony began at 10 AM and was an exciting time where everyone danced to meet the bride as she arrived. The bridal party then danced to the tent where the official ceremony took place and many praise and worship songs were sung to celebrate God's goodness in Peter and Mary's lives. Afterwards, guests enjoyed lunch on the grounds at Bethesda while photos were being taken of the wedding party. When the wedding party returned, a second ceremony (much like an American reception) took place. Many people shared testimonies of how God brought Peter and Mary together and everyone gave their gifts and enjoyed cake together. The day was a great celebration of God's sovereignty and goodness in the lives of His children!
